I wish I could credit whoever posted this, but I have no idea. A friend sent it to me.

Tommy’s screwdriver is a deliberate homage to the sonic screwdriver as are the toy Daleks in the second picture that were included by fans of Doctor Who, who worked on Rugrats. Chuckie being ginger predates Amy Pond by many years unless there was an older ginger companion that I’m not aware of.

This is my latest project in Minecraft.

After watching Iron Man 3, I was inspired to build a iron man helmet out of wool. My first attempt was too small and blocky. I moved to a larger build site but building from the ground up wasn’t working for me. So I’ve constructed a sand slab 20x40x10, 8000 blocks, to carve the helmet out of.

Bravest Warrior Episode 1

I was introed to this series in true tumblr fashion via gifs of a character who is only in three episodes (I think) and only the focus of one episode. I am referring to Catbug who is awesomely cute. The rest of the show is funny, random and very well made. It reminded me of Adventure Time which I found out later was created by the same guy, Pendleton Ward.

perfect commentary which parallels what Rawles was saying earlier about the possibility of Moriarty being a person of color:

You see? It’s more complicated than “people of color get typecast as villains.”

Black people get typecast as an extremely specific type of villain - they’re thugs, brutish and animalistic. South Asian actors are similarly typecast as scary oppressive (usually coded Muslim) terrorists.

But when your villain is of the superhuman archetype? When they’re brooding antiheroes, when they’re nuanced, when they’re multi-faceted?

They’re white.

And how a core message of the movie was that disability=/=incompetence or worthlessness?
